About the Initiative
PROJECT BANDHAN is a student-led awareness initiative dedicated to fostering informed, inclusive, and evidence-based discussions around reproductive and sexual health.Through interactive learning stations, educational outreach programs, and community engagement activities, the project aims to empower individuals with accurate knowledge, encourage healthy practices, and reduce stigma surrounding sexual and reproductive health topics.
Our Focus Areas
Menstrual Health & Hygiene
Promoting awareness about menstrual health, hygiene practices, menstrual products, and breaking myths surrounding menstruation.
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) & Prevention
Educating communities on STI prevention, early recognition, testing, treatment, and reducing stigma.Family Planning & ContraceptionProviding information on contraceptive methods, reproductive choices, and responsible family planning.
Maternal & Adolescent Health
Enhancing awareness regarding maternal well-being, adolescent health, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.Male Reproductive HealthEncouraging open discussions on male reproductive health, fertility, and preventive care.
Lifestyle & Sexual Health
Exploring the impact of lifestyle, mental health, nutrition, and physical activity on overall sexual health.LGBTQIA+ AwarenessPromoting inclusivity, understanding, respect, and equitable healthcare access for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
