Tarun Suvvari is an active medical student with huge passion towards medical research and an aspiring physician scientist. He attended more than 20 National and International Medical Conferences. Few of them includes – Illuminati 2021 (AFMC), INSIGHT 2022 (AIIMS New Delhi), INCISION IGSS 2021, Young European Scientist (Yes) Meeting 2020, Towards for Unity Health (TUFH) – Mexico 2020, Annual Meeting of Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene – London 2020.

Tarun Suvvari was the recipient of Prestigious “Scholar Collar” Award and Scholarship as a part of MedEngage 21-22 by Metropolis Labs. He was also received “Award of Excellence” from Indian Psychiatry Society as part of Mental Health Awareness competition – 2020. He organized several conferences and hold several leadership positions in various medical student and research organizations. He had several publications under his credit in various National and International Journals and he is serving as peer reviewer for few medical journals.

Tarun Suvvari was part of several panel discussions and delivered few invited lectures. Some them includes – Member of Panel Discussion titled “Medical Education Reforms in India” during 15th Global Healthcare Summit on 5th January 2022 by American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), delivered a lecture titled “UG Medical Research in India – The Need of the Hour” during Student Conclave 2021, Bangalore by IMA MSN Karnataka, delivered a webinar titled “From Research Question to Publication” by Students_Against_COVID (SAC) – General and Clinical Research Team.


Tarun Kumar Suvvari took over the role of Associate Editor-in-Chief for Global Journal of Medical Students (GJMS), which is an official publication of GAIMS. The 1st volume of GJMS was launched in December, 2021. GJMS is an open-access, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, triannual online biomedical journal for promoting research amongst medical students and early career physicians.
